光绪元宝是清朝光绪年间流通的货币之一。由湖北两广总督张之洞率先引进英国铸币机器铸造银元和铜元，之后各省纷纷仿效。共有十九个省局铸造，除中央户部，地方省所铸铜元，皆在其正面上缘镌写省名。光绪元宝是我国首批引进海外技术的印发流通货币，对于现今也蕴藏了一定历史意义。
Guangxu Yuanbao was one of the currencies circulated in Guangxu during the Qing Dynasty. 此组光绪元宝共有四枚组成，其中有两枚“广东省造”，两枚“湖北省造”。（1）广东省造光绪元宝每元当制钱十文：此币正面中央铸汉文“光绪元宝”，外环珠圈，上面是“广东省造”，下面是“每元当制钱十文”；背面中央铸“园头飞龙图”，龙图外环珠圈，上面铸英文“KWANG-TUNG”，下面铸英文“ONECENT”。（2）湖北省造光绪元宝当十：此币正面顶部铸楷体“湖北省造”，底部铸“当十”记值，左右两边满文“宝源”，中心直读“光绪元宝”四字，币中心还有六瓣花。铜币背面外圈顶部用大写英文标准字体铭“HU-PEH PROVINCE”字样，下部大写英文字体“TEN CASH” 记值。此组光绪元宝版面设计优雅，雕刻精良，而且存世量极为稀少，是钱币收藏世界，知名度极大的一种，被誉为钱币精品，具有无法估量的学术与历史价值。
This group of Guangxu Yuan Bao consists of four pieces, including two made in Guangdong Province and two made in Hubei Province.
