此银币正面中珠圈内镌满汉文“光绪元宝”四字,圈外上端镌“江南省造”,两侧分别有英文字母“HAH”和“CH”字样,“江南省造”为标识。该银元两侧英文字母为当时造币厂聘请的英国金属成分化验师和模具雕刻师英文姓名的缩写。下端镌币重“库平七钱二分”,左右两侧分镌干支纪年“甲辰”二字。银币背面中镌一个新版龙图,上端镌英文“江南省”,下端镌英文币重“库平七钱二分”,龙眼为凹眼版,背面双花下无点,钱文深峻,包浆老旧,龙纹细致入微。此币系南京造币厂于光绪三十年(1904年)铸造，制作精良，包浆自然，品相好，此种版别特别稀少，特别珍贵，有极高的研究和收藏价值。
The front of the silver coin is inscribed with the Chinese characters "Guangxu Yuan Bao" inside the Pearl circle, and the top of the circle is inscribed with the words "Made in Jiangnan Province". The letters "HAH" and "CH" on both sides are marked with the words "Made in Jiangnan Province". The English letters on both sides of the silver dollar are abbreviations of the English names of the British metal composition analysts and mold sculptors employed by the mint at that time. The bottom of the coin is "seven dollars and two cents". The right and left sides are divided into two words. On the back of the silver coin is a new version of the Dragon map, with the English "Jiangnan Province" at the top and the English coin at the bottom weighing "Kuping Seven Divides". The longan is a concave-eyed version. On the back, there is no spot under the double flowers, the money is deep and stern, the pulp is old and the Dragon pattern is meticulous. This coin was minted in 1904 by Nanjing Mint in the 30th year of Guangxu. It is well-made, naturally pulped and of good quality. This type of coin is very rare, especially precious, and has high research and collection value.
